Winston McMahon reporting
In the midst of the current economic crisis, StarCorps Industries is under contract with FHI to produce a new assault class chassis for general sale as a mobile fire-support platform. Unfortunately, the new prototype was located at the Masada testing facility (7 kilometers north of my current location) which was overrun by the Word of Blake 47th and 51st divisions late Wednesday night. Details are sketchy, but reports indicate that the design is a total loss—along with the rest of the StarCorps testing facility.
As a result of losing this contract, StarCorps is now facing imminent bankruptcy. In an attempt to overcome the loss of its prototype, and the demise of its advanced testing facility, StarCorps is said to be working with its trusted team of design engineers to resurrect one of its most enduring and venerable designs in hopes to “wow” investors enough to keep the current contract alive. Board members have scheduled an emergency meeting for Friday, presumably to plan the quick launch of this new chassis and prevent the fall of its Star League rooted company. We were able to get a brief statement from Brian Fitzgerald of StarCoprs Industries early this morning:
“We are desperately working around the clock to find the solution to the current problems we are facing. But, rest assured, there is a solution; we will overcome as we have always done in the past.”
- Brian Fitzgerald of StarCorps Industries
More on this as details arrive; this is Winston McMahon, reporting for CGN news.
