BTU Awards for 2010
It has been a long time since we handed these out but now we are so, congratulations to the following members:
Award - member name
Meritorious Member - rpgsheets The staff and I have felt that he has been putting in a lot of effort in the "Mech Exchange program" and has been posting up a lot of his painted miniatures for all of us to see. Congratulations and thank you for your efforts!
Valued Member - Rayo Azul Rayo has amazed me and the rest of the staff with the stories posted. I'm pleased that Rayo has found the time and inspiration to put his creations up here. Congratulations and keep up the good work!
Staff Commendation - Shalom itay thecircus and I talked this over and are in agreement that Shalom deserves some recognition from us for trying his best to keep the site going and for trying to get a contest going. We are thankful for all he is doing!
And that is all the awards to hand out for the moment. I'd like to thank all members for posting and for coming here from time to time.
Cheers

Thank you and congratulations to the other winners. I was not expecting a reward for something enjoy doing, but am honoured that you think that I deserve one.
As you will have seen, I am posting less at the moment as I am concentrating on plugging and developing my own work, which has featured on here, and will continue to do so. Thanks to all of you who have given feedback, encouragement and even just read my stuff. It gave me the confidence to self-publish. Just remember you can get free stories and samples by clicking the link in my signature. A new Anthology will soon be released on Smashwords for those interested.
Thanks again and I'll see you in the forums.
Cheers

Congratulations to all the winners!
I love to see what rpgsheets has painted, especially which new 'Mechs Melody's Rockers "acquire" from the WoB.
I've been reading (devouring) Rayo's stories since he started posting them. Great work there!
Though I possess no artistic talent, I appreciate the effort shalom itay has put into the art contests.
All of you deserve the awards!

You're all welcome. My fanfic work here, plus the following and feedback that I had on the Sudden Dearth series helped to give me the impetus to self-publish. Just seen that I am in the best-selling top 50 for SF eBooks on Diesel this month.
You can be sure that I will continue to post here.
Thanks again to everyone for reading and commenting.

Oh, yeah, the Dark Falcons has been and always will be a first here on BTU. Hidden Empire will be continued as will Talon, once A Guiding Light is ready for publishing on Smashwords.Rayo Azul wrote:You're all welcome.
