Yeah, there definatly seems to be.
LOTB is a great sight, but as of late it seems like much of the reguler readership has fizzled over a time.
This sight seems to have ALOT to offer. Once I get on my feet a bit I would love to participate in the various contests and even write a few articles in Argent Fire.
I've been a strong supporter of the BT line since way back when. I used to be a Marauder back in the old days of FASA, but after they folded I went into focusing on getting my carrer in Art off the ground. For now, It means that I only really have time to casually glance at the hobby and the universe (reading the DA books is pretty much all the time I have for Battletech at the moment.) After I can get secured in that stuff, I'm thinking of joining up with the Commandos, and getting more active in the community. But until then, I'm just going to be browsing through.
Feels good to be here and I'll see you guys around.

I actually found this place a few times when I was looking for information on that 3 Legged monstrosity wizkids released, and then I accidentally clicked on the forum button when I was going to go someplace else on the net, looked around the forum for a little bit, and I signed up about 5 seconds later. I think this is the best battletech site on the net, bar none. GREAT work Ody.

I found BTU through two sources, Google and a link on the FanPro Classic Battle Tech site. I really liked the look of BTU and the way was set up. I hope after playing Mechwarrior (the Miniature and video comp. games) for a while, I'll be able to contribute a little more than just asking the questions.

I don't remember -- it's been two years now!
I think it may have been the CBT site, but I can't swear on it...

I'm fairly certian i found it through a link, but where that link was from, I couldn't say.. (don't rightly remember what Btech related I was looking for at the time).
Real Men use only level 1 equipment.
why yes, I do own the web....
There is no problem too difficult for a correctly sized block of C-4.
