Heartly thank you for your proposal, AMT, but, I think, I'll remain in the ranks of DCMS.
Repainting of 36+ mechs from red paintjob can be very time-consuming

It wont be so hard.
All you need to do is to drop them into a bucket of bleach

Greetings, after much difficulty with the registration CAPTCHA, I finally got on!
Over 20 years ago, this game was my gateway drug to Miniature Wargaming, and now my local friends and I are returning to our roots.
Long time fan of the stories but only got into the game recently with a couple of friends. Been looking for Battletech resources online and found this great site. Being new to the game, we're running a sort of mini-campaign set in 3047 with some house rules. For those interested, do check out the link in my sig.
Welcome aboard the good ship BTU Tamad, we hope you enjoy the site and your membership with us, that also applies to all of our other newest members too.
Old player from the 1980s who wandered off after FASA fell. starting to get back into the driver's seat again, though. I have always been a staunch Capellan loyalist.

Hello gentlemen, and ladies; gutten abern mein damen und herren. My name is Dwayne Dees, and I first started playing BT back when I picked up my Battledroids boxed set in 1985. I played steadily up until enlisting in the Army in 1990, and by the time I got out in 1996 I didn't have people to play with any more, so I ended up giving away all my stuff in 1998 (still kicking myself for that!). When I discovered that BT was not only back in print, but that there were communities of players online for it as well, I immediately got back into things and have been working on learning the new technologies and such as time and money allow! I am very glad to be a part of this community and am looking forward to talking to you all about something that has always been one of my first loves in the sci-fi world!
My character, Jonathan R. Nathans, is the commanding officer of a mercenary unit called the Crimson Ace Dragoons, of which I am having to start from scratch building again (started out the first time with a battered old 3025 Commando, and am doing it the same way again) and am currently only up to a Commando, Assassin and Urbanmech, but with a little luck and some decent contracts, I plan on rebuilding what had been a unit of 3 combined arms regiments and 1 armored cavalry regiment of hovercraft with aerospace support, and judging by the looks of things on this forum, there are a LOT of new designs and ideas to look forward to learning as I go along!
Again, nice to meet you all, and glad to be here!
