I haven't been a member long enough to be eligible for the contest, but I liked the brief alot. Just getting back into the fun of drawing mechs again.

I'll have to back AM2 on this, sir!

Please elaborate on the working process (technique, medium, inspirations...)
This will be highly appreciated.

Beautiful work, I wish I could draw even half that skill, could draw my own custom designs then instead of just stating them out. Again marvelous work there.

Thanks for the interest in the process. I'm not the greatest mech designer so I like to stick to atmospheric pieces. Hence the worm's eye perspective and use of lighting.

I usually sketch my ideas out on paper really small (like 2"x3") and use them as references. Then I do my linework in photoshop with a tablet. I like doing a piece twice as big and then resizing so the lines look sharper.

Mecha-Master(david white) http://mecha-master.deviantart.com/ and Eriance are my gotos for very inspirational stuff.

David White sure have some nice works under his belt.
From what I get he did the MW4 concept art, very nice looking, not unlike early M.PLOG.

I like your take on the Manits (original artwork here: http://sarna.net/wiki/File:Mantis.JPG).
The general style is very much JPL, but more coherent and clean.

Excellent.

Once I get his pricing structure, I can commission a replacement for the Trebuchet. His style and quality fall somewhere between Eric Ou and David Dryburgh, and are a nice change of pace while not losing the detail I need for a TRO.
