Post by rpgsheets » Sun Jun 19, 2011 5:37 pm

For the first time, I am linking a mini rather than posting the pic, because this week features my first nude! Well, topless, but still, need to keep things PG-13 8)

As always , thoughts, opinions, and thrown pottery welcome.

Actually, the head is sculpted on with that version. I couldn't change it. But if you want it, it's on ebay right now.

I don't think I will tire of looking at your Battlemechs. They are so pristine!

The only thing I can offer here is that the figures lack definition. Many of the colours appear very flat, or too stark, particularly the eyeshadow, the hilts of the topless woman's knives, the shield, and the metals. It may just be the camera. On the other hand, if it's a stylistic choice, there's not much that can be improved!

What your figures would definitely benefit from is in reducing the size of the eyes. Once they're at the stage you can see in the pictures, run a line of the flesh tone across the bottom half; that will cut them down to size and stop them looking quite so anime. However, Reaper Miniatures often seem to produce figures with oversized eyeballs, so... anyway. Good work all round!
